The company founded by Alfred Dunhill manufactured accessories for early motorists. The London pipe store wasn’t established until 1907. The legendary White Spot was added in 1912. Originally this White Spot was added to help customers and employees alike with orientation when placing the handmade vulcanite mouthpiece into the shank. This White Spot on the upper side of the mouthpiece is an internationally registered trademark.
Dunhill exclusively uses premium grade AA briar woods in the production of his pipes.
